Rickie Donald Wilson, Sr., 66, of Columbia, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Grace Home in Alexandria. He was born September 13, 1949 in Monroe to the union of his parents, James Huey Wilson and Mary Cathlene Boyette Wilson. Rickie worked in the telecommunications industry. He served proudly with the US Army. Music was a huge influence and love in his life and he played several instruments, especially the guitar. Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 30, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Interment followed in the Westbrooks-Swilley Cemetery at Aimwell under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Patrick Monet Wilson. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Patricia Louise Wilson; two sons, Richard Allen Wilson and wife, Amanda and Rickie Donald Wilson, Jr, all of Beaver Dam, KY; five daughters, Lilly Wilson of Columbia, Brandi Jones and husband Brantley Hayes of Bremerton, WA, Kim Rivera and husband LeeRoy of Odessa, TX, Edrinn Smith of Bowling Green, KY and Stacy Alley and husband Josh of Bowling Green, KY; three brothers, Garry Wilson and wife Barbara of Columbia, Killis Ray Nappier of Grayson and David Bruce Nappier and wife Debra of Haile; sister, Cynthia Doan of West Monroe; twenty-two grandchildren, Lyrick Monet Binkley, Bradley Jones, Samuel Tate Jones, William Nicholas Jones, Hailey Jones, Cloe Rivera, Reece Rivera, Brady Wilson, Brandon Smith, Jessica Lawson, Keylee Wilson, Gabby Wilson, Andi Wilson, Edy Wilson, Madie Wilson, Bryce Wilson, Destiny Wilson, Micaela Carling Keys, Konnor Martin, Justice Alley, Dylan Alley, and Gracen Alley; six great-grandchildren and one expected February 2017; his best friends, Joe Burroughs, Gary Blackwell and Trippy Nix, along with his many music friends which became his extended music family and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers were Richard Wilson, Rickie Wilson, Jr., William N. Jones, Lucas Nappier, Mike Boyette and Duke Medaries. Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Korn, Matthew Pipes, Ricky Garsee and Timmy Nappier.
