James “Ron” Ronald Sones, 52, of Holum, passed from this life unexpectedly on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Holum. He was born on June 16, 1963 in Natchez, MS to the union of his parents. Ron worked as a maintenance man in upkeeping yards. He held many hobbies including working in his own yard, watching car races, hunting, especially deer, and cooking. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, at the Little Star Baptist Church near Grayson. He is preceded in death by his father, James W. Sones; grandparents, William and Bessie Cooper, Robert and Rosie Corales and Willis Jefferson Sones; uncles, Richard Malone and Eddie Malone; and his aunt, Jean Busby. Survivors include his mother, Linda Herrington and husband, James of Winnsboro; brothers, Jeffery Sones and wife Janice of Holum and Phillip Anthony Sones and wife Melissa of Grayson; sister, Darlene Neal and husband Randy of Trout; seven nieces, three nephews, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; close relatives, Willie Mae Nugent, Lee Sikes and Faye Fatheree; and close friends, the Stout family.
