Ben Frank Morris, 82, of Jena, passed from this life on Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Jena. He was born Wednesday, July 5, 1933 in Sandy Lake to the union of Benjamin Franklin and Josie Husbeth Morris. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, at Midway Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Dave Bailey and Kevin Manuel officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery in the Belah-Fellowship Community under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his son, Ben M. Morris; brothers, Jeddie Morris, J. B. Morris, Willie Price, Jim Homer Price, and Carver Morris; and sisters, Shirly Graham and Rose Ford. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Stanfield Morris of Jena; two sons, John Morris of Jena and Micheal Morris and wife Ginger of Olla; two daughters, Becky Cotton of Harrisonburg and Paula Little and husband Bill of Manifest; brother, Sam Morris of Corpus Christi, TX; sister, Vivian Brooks of Houston, TX; ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
