Edwin Earl Savoy, Jr., 55, of Jena, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Baton Rouge. He was born in Jena on June 8, 1960. Earl was a self-employed tree surgeon. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 19, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Earl Savoy, Sr. and Mildred Lavern Keene Savoy; and a sister, Martha Savoy. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Parks Savoy of Jena; two daughters, Ashley Savoy and Brandi Savoy, both of Jena; two sisters, Priscilla Scott of Vivian and Sarah Wiggins of Winnsboro; one grandson, Nathan Cupit; uncle, Johnny Savoy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
