Vivian “Prudy” Taylor

Vivian “Prudy” Taylor, 72, of Jonesville, entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Columns Nursing and Rehab Center in Jonesville after a lengthy illness. Services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 25, at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Whitting and David Carpenter officiating. Interment followed in Heard Cemetery of Manifest under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her father, James Morris Watts, Sr.; her mother, Iris Irene Barmore Watts; and brother, Glen Wayne Watts of Woodworth. Survivors include her children, Johnny Ray Taylor and Penny Jo Wiggins; her former husband, Rufus Ray Taylor; four grandchildren, Dewey Lee Wiggins, Brennan Wiggins, Leann Taylor and Andrew Taylor; three great grandchildren, Slater Wiggins, Conner Musgrove, and Chase Musgrove; three brothers, Calvin Henry Watts, Sr. and wife Dorothy, James Morris “Jimmy” Watts, Jr. and wife Jo Ann, and Danny Michael Watts and wife Pamela; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers were Calvin Watts, Sr., Calvin Watts, Jr., James “Jimmy” Watts, Jr., Danny Michael Watts, Dalton Watts, and Philip Penton.
