Anna Rose Brown Lisenby, 58, of Kelly, and a native of Urania, was called home to the angels on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was born November 21, 1956 in Urania to the union of her parents, Edward A. Brown and Mary Elaine Smith Brown. Anna Rose was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She cherished her beloved dachshunds, Harley and Zoey. She never met a stranger and was always kind to everyone. A memorial service was held at 6 p.m., Monday, June 15, at Outreach Baptist Church of Columbia, under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Brown; mother, Elaine Brown; and sister, Carolyn Brown Williams. Survivors include her husband, Gary Lisenby of Kelly; three sons, Brandon Sanders of Monroe, Michael Lisenby of Jena, and Cory Lisenby of Kelly; sister, Mary Beth Brown Orr of Columbia; brother, Charles Brown of Columbia; and a host of nephews, nieces, friends and her beloved Sam.
