Elouise Lee, 94, of Baker, and a lifelong resident of Jena, passed from this life on Saturday, May 29, 2015, at Lane Memorial Nursing Home in Zachary, with her family at her side. Elouise was born November 20, 1920, the daughter of George and Clara Nelson. Services were held June 6, at Trout Creek Baptist Church in Good Pine with Rev. Dave Mays officiating. Interment followed in the Webster Cemetery of Good Pine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Lee, Sr., daughter, Ruby Stein Lee Purtue; and her parents. Survivors include daughters, Mary L. Polk of Baker, and Barbara Ann Jackson; sons, Wesley Lee, Sr. and wife Margaret, Charlie Ray Lee and wife Golina, all of Jena; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
