Elizabeth “Liz” McCann, 76, of Searcy, passed from this life on Friday, August 14, 2020.
She was born September 11, 1943 in Trout.
Liz was a trusted beautician for 56 years and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 16, at Searcy Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim Norris and Steve Jones officiating.
Graveside services followed in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery in the Mt. Sinai Community with Rev. Steve Jensen officiating.
Interment was under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Henry McCann; and parents, Joseph “Lonnie” Jones and Wilma “Bernice” Francis Jones.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her sons, Joey McCann (Connie), and Jim McCann (Nicki); brother, Joseph Jones (Diane); sister, Helen Monk (David); grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, Ryan, Ethan, Jackson, Abbie Elizabeth, Caden, Lander, and Bridger; great grandchildren, Adryan, Brady, Addy, Emersyn, and Charlie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Cody McCann, Ryan McCann, Ethan McCann, Jackson McCann, Caden McCann, and Chad Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Lander McCann, Bridger McCann, Brady McCann, Kenneth Smith, Adryan Smith, Brandon Jones, John Rodney Campbell, and Jerry Miller.
