Rosalie T. “Mrs. Rose” Maxey, 68, of Dry Prong, and a native of Urania, passed from this life on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at her residence in Dry Prong.
She was born September 1, 1951 in Urania.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, at Liberty Chapel Cemetery of Williana with Rev. Joe Johnson officiating.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Bass.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years, John Maxey of Dry Prong; son, Brian Maxey of Seattle, WA; brother, Jerry Bass and wife Janice of Jena; cousins, Jean Aycock and Margaret Poplin of Olive Branch, MS; and a host of extended family and friends.
