Stewart Payne Hardie, 48, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Thursday, January 30, 2020.
He was born August 20, 1971.
Stewart was a man of many traits and lived life to the fullest.
Services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at Utility Baptist Church of Jonesville, with the Revs. Jerry Sharp and Dustin Robertson officiating.
Interment followed in the McFarian-Gurie Cemetery of Jonesville under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Michelle Hardie of Jonesville; three sons, Payne Hardie of Jonesville, Cody Herrington and wife Victoria of Monroe, and Joshua Herrington of Sicily Island; daughter, Heather Burlew and husband Paul of Jena; seven grandchildren, Laken Burlew, Levi Burlew, Braxton Burlew, Blayne Herrington, Vivianne Herrington, Rosalyn Herrington and Kamden Herrington; mother, Aldis Boone of Jonesville; father, Cloyd Hardie and wife Betty; two sisters, Stacy Rutledge and husband Kevin of Jonesville, and Summer Hance and husband Matt of Groveton, TX; brother, Stephen Hardie and wife Tena of Jonesville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Dale Reeves, Jaken Rutledge, Brice Davenport, Greg Spinks, Dewayne Reeves and Michael Reeves.
Honorary pallbearers were Edward Neal, Bobby Stafford, David Cockerham and Bryon Poole.
