Lila M. Shipley, 81, of Olla, passed from this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She loved her grandkids. Services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at Straight Road Full Gospel Church in Olla with Bro. John Norwood officiating. Interment followed in the Heard Cemetery of Manifest under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Shipley; parents, William and Lillie Richey; siblings, J.W., Rhomadee, Charlie Murphy, Elbert, Doodle, Bob, Uniev, Octavia and Laverne. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Gary and Darlene Shipley of Summerville, Connie and Daniel Perrin of Morrelton, AR, Keith and Billie Jean Shipley of Grayson, Darren and Barbara Shipley of Summerville, and Rhonda and Leslie Johnson of Olla; grandkids, Jason, Kaci, Laura, Seth, Mindy, Patrick, Reanne, Elizabeth, Zach, Tyler, Hunter, Wyatt, Shelbi, Rance and Meagan; 22 great grandkids; and brother, Butch Richey. Pallbearers were Chris Graham, Seth Perrin, Hunter Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, Rance Shipley, Patrick Shipley and Jake Keene. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Perrin, Leslie Johnson, Jeff Ainsworth and Curtis Shipley.
