
Clifton “Tip” Netherland, 77, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Friday, December 15, 2017, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.
He was a member of Good Road Pentecostal Church in Catahoula Parish. He was a retired oilfield worker and welder.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 18, at Good Road Pentecostal Church of Jonesville with the Revs. Bryan Taylor, Tim Joiner and Chad Franklin officiating.
Interment followed in the Heard Cemetery of Manifest under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Netherland; parents, Guy and Philisty Netherland; sister, Gracie Stump; and brother, Sylvester Netherland.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Charlene Netherland; sons, Randall Netherland and wife Angela, and Lance Netherland and wife Pathy; granddaughters, Erica Netherland and husband Dylan, and Natalie Netherland; brothers, Buddy Netherland and wife LeAnn, Ben Netherland and wife Melinda, and Clayton Netherland and wife Phyllis; sister, Millie Murry and husband Acie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Randy Neal, Dylan Hebert, Richie Netherland, Tracy Stump, Rodney Smith and Triston Murry.
Honorary pallbearers were Clint Woodson, Dewey Stockman, Dino Hunstock, Dustin Bass, Josh Bradford and Walter Everet.
