Charles Edward McPherson, 71, of Jena, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at his home with his loving family by his side. Charles was a superintendent in the drilling industry for many years and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his son, Coy McPherson, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Judy E. McPherson; son, James E. McPherson and wife Mary; grandkids, Nathan McPherson, Regina McPherson, Coy McPherson, Jr., Danielle Parrot, Justin McPherson, Jamie McPherson and Cole Johnson; great grandkids, Seth Smith, Keelie McPherson, Lexi Myles, Nicky McPherson, Carly McPherson, Natile Parrot, Chole Parrot, Wesley Parrot, Lilly McPherson and Ann McPherson, as well as family friends, Johnnie Corley Whatley, John Robbins and Wayne Pritchard.
