Joseph Hubert Esters, 80, of Jena, passed from this life on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at his home. Mr. Hubert was a resident of Jena, loved playing dominoes and was always up for a game. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks. Interment will follow under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Legg Esters; father, Irvin Esters; brothers, Glenn Lee Esters, Ralph Esters and Shelby Esters. Survivors include his spouse, Cynthia Struble of Jena; daughter, Opal Struble of Cottonport; sister, Shirley Yelverton of Hineston; two brothers, Kenneth Esters of West Monroe, and Alton Esters of Hineston; and two beautiful grandchildren.
