Edith Marie Meredith of Conroe, Texas, and formerly of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, December 27, 2019 in her residence in Conroe.

She was born September 20, 1914 and was 105 years old at her death.

Ms. Marie, as she was affectionately known by all, was a bright spirited soul, full of life, enjoying every moment. She was a devout Christian that loved her Lord and Savior.

She spent her time working as a seamstress and enjoyed quilting. She will be sorely missed by all who had opportunity to meet her, as she never met a stranger.

Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 31, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in Jena with Rev. Harvey Blasingame officiating.

Interment followed in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Nebo under direction of Kinner and Sevens, Inc.of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. and Leonie (Bignar) Yule; one son, Ralph E. Meredith; sisters, Mattie Girlinghouse, Vera Barron, Velma Blasingame, Minnie Metchette, and Kathrine Paul; two brothers, Dave Yule and James E. Yule, Jr; and one grandson, Judah Teinert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Ronnie Meredith, and wife Zady of Dallas, TX, and Jimmie Meredith and wife Karen of Denton, TX; one daughter, Lucia Teinert and husband John of Conroe TX; her grandchildren, Gregory Meredith, Amy Rowden, David Meredith, Jamie Meredith, Dylan Meredith, Justin Acker, Stephanie Reiken, Jessica O’dell, Bree Teinert, and Josiah Teinert.

Barbara Louise Goade, 79, of Olla, passed from this life to her heavenly home on December 25, 2019, in Tyler, Texas.

She was born November 17, 1940 in Grayson to the union of her parents, Emsley Masters and Ovis Young Masters.

Louise was a member of Standard Baptist Church for most of her life. Declining health in her later years prevented her from attending but she still had a love for her church. She was an active member of the Olla Kiwanis Club in her younger years.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, from the sanctuary of Standard Baptist Church near Olla with Rev. Denver McBroom officiating.

Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Goade; and her brother, Roy Masters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, William Goade (Ann); her daughter, Teresa Wood (Jeffrey); brother, Billy Masters (Georgia); sister-in-law, Bert Masters; grandchildren: Nathan Wood, Alex Wood, Lawrence Goade, Rachel Goade, and Gracie Goade; as well as one great-granddaughter, Gracelynn Wood.

Pallbearers were Heath Lee, Braden Lee, Nathan Wood, Alex Wood, Lawrence Goade, Gary Taylor, Angelo Benandi and Michael Kerry.

Mattie Mae Sanders

Mattie Mae Rambo Sanders, 101, of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, January 3, 2020 in Jena.

She was born October 25, 1918, in Georgetown to the union of Joseph William Rambo and Mattie Elisabeth Barron.

Mae graduated Valedictorian of her class of 1936 from Selma High School. She attended beauty school with a degree in cosmetology, worked in the retail field and retired from the Louisiana Training Institute for girls in Ball, Louisiana.

She was a member of Good Pine First Baptist Church, and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Mae loved to fish.

She was a seamstress for herself, daughter, and granddaughters. She was a Bible Scholar and taught Sunday School Classes in various churches. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Mae had a wit about her that will forever be remembered.

Mae loved keeping up with current events and enjoyed reading “The National Enquirer”. Mae could still quote William Shakespeare. For the past thirteen years, Mae was a resident of LaSalle Nursing Home. She was a natural for making friends wherever God placed her.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Jimmy Keene and Marcus “Peanut” Brinson officiating.

Interment followed in the Big Creek Cemetery of Pollock, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Albert Sanders; brothers, Joseph Barron Rambo, and William “Bill” Rambo; and sisters, Vera Brenam, Clara Rambo, and Eva Ross.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Ray and husband Jack; two granddaughters, Laurie Ray Sewall and husband Paul and Jeannie Ray Wagner and husband Patrick; one great-granddaughter, Sandy McCartney; one great great granddaughter, Allee Claire Smith; foster daughter, JoAnn Williams; special friends, Jerry and JoAnn Stevens; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Kieth Williams, James Rambo, Drew Williams, Buddy Fusslier, and Paul Sewall.

Memorial donations in memory of Mae Sanders may be made to Good Pine Baptist Church in Good Pine.

Gloria Sue Miller, 63, of Trout, passed from this life on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on Friday, July 27, 1956.

Sue loved working in the medical field and taking care of others. She loved and adored her grandchildren, which were her heart. She loved spending time with her sister Vicki and niece Kelli, and going on trips together.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 6, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in the Sandy Lake Community in Catahoula Parish with the Revs. Mickey Hudnall and Johnnie Phillips officiating.

Interment followed in the Heard Cemetery of Manifest under directions of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Day Cassels; father, Davis Cassels; her foster mother and father, Inez and Herchel Collins; and brother, Donnie Cassels.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David Miller of Trout; sons, Brock Miller and wife Heather, and Billy Miller and fiancé Kendall Ann Gibson; grandchildren, River Miller, Zoey Miller, Taylor Miller, Bayleigh Cline, Rory and Taylor Guild; brothers, James Cassels, Gene Cassels and Jerry Cassels; sisters, Vicki Houghton and Lana Craigo.

Melissa D. “Missy” Hunter, 53, of Jena, was called to accept her heavenly home on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

She was born December 13, 1966 in Jena to the union of her parents, J. B. Hunter, Sr. and Laura Hunter.

Melissa confessed Christ at an early age and united with New Evergreen Baptist Church in Jena, and attended Trout Creek Baptist Church.

She attended and graduated from Winnfield High School, a member of the Class of 1985. She was an employee of LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena for 20 years.

A celebration of life was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, at Trout Creek Baptist Church of Good Pine with Rev. Jamerson Jackson officiating.

Interment followed in the Webster Cemetery in Good Pine under direction of Gayden Funeral Home of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her mothers, Laura Hunter and Lucille Turner; and three sisters, Donnitta Hunter, Adrienne Hunter, and Dlolita “DeeDee” Hunter.

Her memory will forever be in the hearts of her two daughters, M’Andreia Hunter and A’Leisha Coleman, both of Jena; her lifetime companion, Clarence Allen Coleman of Jena; her father, J. B. Hunter, Sr. (Linda) of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Deneen Dangerfield of Jena and Tina Hunter of Los Angeles, CA; five brothers, J. B. Hunter, Jr. and Marcus Hunter, both of Wichita, KS, Maurice Hunter of Jena, Haracheo Jones of Los Angeles, CA, and Kenneth Dudley of Winnfield; three grandchildren, Carter Martin, Lauren Lee, and Delilah Hunter, all of Jena; special friends, Kimberly Miller, Carol Brown, Robin Hendrix, and Dorothy Johnson, all of Jena; and a host of uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Addie Mae Lewis

Addie Mae Williams Vantree Lewis, 97, of Jena, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2019 in her residence.

She was born June 4, 1922 in Sicily Island to the union of her parents, Rev. Johnnie Williams and Annie Bell Cook Williams.

As a child, she attended the St. Stephens Baptist Church of Vidalia, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Her father was pastor of the church, and she accepted Christ at the age of 17.

In 1949, Mrs. Lewis moved to Jena and became a member and Choir President of L&A Baptist Church in Good Pine. In 1980’s, she moved back to St. Stephens Baptist Church, and in 2017, she became a member of New Evergreen Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Mission department.

She received her elementary education at Vidalia, graduating as valedictorian of her class. In 1968, she continued her education at Huey P. Long Trade School, studying bookkeeping. In 1970, she attended Rod Brady Trade School, where she studied nursing. In 1972, she attended LSUA where she studied general studies.

Over the years, Mrs. Lewis was employed at the Jena Post Office, Jena Cleaners, Belden Wire and Cable, LaSalle General Hospital, La-Salle Nursing Home, Golden Age Nursing Home, Walmart, and Gayden’s Funeral Home. During her life, she was engaged in several entrepreneurial pursuits including farming, restauranteur, seamstress, carpenter and land holder. She officially retired at age 93 after working for 81 years.

During her life, Mrs. Lewis was active in civic and community service, including serving in the Order of Eastern Star Rosewood Chapter No. 65 in Vidalia.

A celebration of her life was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Nolley Memorial United Methodist Church in Jena with Pastor Greg Oliver, Sr., of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Shreveport, officiating.

She was laid to rest in the Webster Cemetery in Good Pine under direction of Gayden’s Funeral Home of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emanuel Leonard Lewis, Sr.; three sisters, Annie Cook Wainwright, Mary Cook, and Edith Gudeman; three brothers, Albert Cook, Johnny Williams, and George Williams; and one grandson, Leonard Lewis.

Left to cherish her memories are seven children, Shirley Joyce Lewis Henderson of Baton Rouge, Delinor L. Vantree (Gwendolyn) of Hampton, VA, Charles Wesley Lewis (Amy) of Baton Rouge, Emanuel L. Lewis (Janice) of Jena, Patricia A. Hill of Mesquite, TX, Jewel F. Johnson of Jena, and Addie L. Mills of Jena; one sister, Gertrude Williams Cooper of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of neices, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers were Jacoby Ceasar, Kendedrick Hill, Andre Jones, Ahmad Norl, Kunta Walker, and Codarius Vault.

Honorary pallbearers were Charles Dorsey, Brandon Gibbs, Taylor Green, Haze Harrison, Steve Kendrick, Tom Kendrick, Ben Reid, Barry Williams, and George Williams, Jr.

Ruby Jean Poole Dannehl, 65, of Enterprise, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at the Columns Nursing Facility in Jonesville following an extended illness.

She was born April 8, 1954 at Jena to the union of her parents, Cary Surveal Poole and Octavia Whitehead Poole.

To know Ruby was to love her. She loved to cook for her family and was truly a help mate to her husband.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, from the sanctuary of Rosefield Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Robinson officiating.

Interment followed in the Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, “Dee” Poole, Linda Haye, and Elaine Poole; her brother-in-law, Clifford Poole; her brother, Wayne Poole and sister-in-law Donna Nell Poole; and her great niece, Willow Michelle Westbrook.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ricky L. Dannehl of Enterprise; her sister, Reba Randall and husband Thad of Aimwell; her brother, Donald Dean Poole and wife Mary Ann of Rosefield; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and a special friend to Ruby and Ricky, R. E. McGuffee.

Pallbearers were Kyle Poole, Kerry Poole, Sean Poole, Bubba Lloyd, Jason Braddock and Timothy McKee.

Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Ira “Sonny” Hopkins, Waymond “Pete” Hopkins, and Carlton Douglas “Dugan” Hopkins; and sister, Thelma Rae Collins.

Those left to cherish in her memory include her sons, Mike Armour and wife Josephine of Duncan, OK, and Greg Armour and wife Sheri of Tyler, TX; daughter, Deborah Jones and husband David of Jena; brother, Donald “Duck” Hopkins of Jena; sister, Nedra Jean Moore of Haughton; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was born December 3, 1954 to the union of Moses Andrew Poole and Louis Marie Jenkins Poole. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Tony Bell officiating. Interment followed in the Randall Cemetery of Aimwell under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents. Steven Francis Zarnowski, 71, of Monroe, passed from this life on Monday, December 23, 2019, at the Overton Brooks Veterans Administration Medical Center in Shreveport.

He was born March 6, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York.

Steven was a longtime member of Rowland Road Baptist Church of Monroe. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the war in Vietnam. He retired as manager of the West Coast Region of Bax Global Air Freight.

Memorial services were held Friday, Dec. 27, at Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe with the Revs. Norman Bryant and John Yates officiating.

Arrangements were under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe.

Survivors include wife, J. Elaine Enterkin Zarnowski, a native of Jena; sister, Barbara Kolonoskie (Gary); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Juanita Cockerham Allen, 83, of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, January 10, 2020.

She was born April 5, 1936 in Little Creek to the union of her parents, Dewey Cockerham and Audie Ganey Cockerham.

Juanita was employed at LaSalle General Hospital for 20 years. She loved reading, cooking, word puzzles, and her grandchildren.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 13, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Joel Johnson and Scotty McDowell officiating.

Interment followed in the Chalk Hill Cemetery in the Little Creek Community under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O. K. Allen; and her parents.

Those left to cherish in her memory include her sons, Randy Allen and wife Susie of Jena, and Dewey Allen and wife Debbie of Duson; daughter, Dianna Jones and husband Dee of Trout; brother, J. W. Cockerham of Jena; five grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Lucille Hudnall Bond, 93, of Jonesville, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

She was born in Jonesville on April 29, 1926, to the union of Henry Hudnall and Pearl McClure Hudnall.

Mrs. Bond was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesville and worked in the grocery business for over forty-five years, thirty-five of those years employed by Ford’s Food Center as a cashier and office worker.

A service celebrating her life was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12, at the First Baptist Church in Jonesville with Reverends Gary Norris and Ralph Webber officiating.

Interment followed at Galvin’s Creek Cemetery in LaSalle Parish, under direction of Young’s Funeral Home of Jonesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Howard W. Bond; brothers, Henry Hudnall, Jr., and Samuel Oran Hudnall; sister, Pearl Hudnall White; sons, Barry Kent Bond and Randy Layne Bond; and grandson, Craig Allen Bond.

Survivors include one son, Brian Bond and wife Pam; grandsons, Brian David Bond and wife Kaity and Lance Bond and wife Brandi, all of Jena; great-grandchildren, Riley Bond, Cameron Bond, Samuel Bond, Noah Sharp, Tanner Bond, Tucker Bond, Abbi Bond, Laci Bond, Kassi Bond and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Brian David Bond, Riley Bond, Lance Bond, Tanner Bond, Slade Bradford, and Keith Tarver.

Honorary pallbearers were Derek Calk, Buzz Scott, Chris Brady, Joseph Brady and Bubba Shaw.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to The Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home or The Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation.

David Leonard Henderson, 27, of Olla, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Hardtner Medical Center of Urania, surrounded by his loving family.

David was born November 13, 1992 to the union of John Wesley and Tammy Faye Carter Henderson.

David had many hobbies he enjoyed, including Legos, collecting teddy bears, drawing, and just being outdoors. David was a very kind and gentle young man that will be greatly missed by all who had opportunity to meet him.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 13, at Summerville Baptist Church in Summerville with Rev. Jesse Henderson officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, John Wesley, and Tammy Faye Henderson of Olla; two sisters, Amanda Carter, and Tiffany Henderson, both of Olla; three brothers, John P. Henderson, James A. Henderson, and Matthew C. Henderson, all of Oak Grove; his grandmother, Betty D. Book of Pioneer; and one aunt, Mary Couch of Olla.

She was born August 30, 1938 in Jena to the union of her parents, Sam Phillip Hopkins and Elemena Currington Hopkins.

Sammie attended and graduated from Jena High School, a member of the Class of 1956.

She worked for Belden Wire and Cable Co.as a supervisor for many years. She also worked many years for LaSalle Golf and Country Club in the Pro Shop.

Her memory will forever be in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she adored.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Gary Norris officiating.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Eddie Dwain Poole of Monterey, Charles Galen Poole and wife June of Monroe, Ronald Roy Poole and wife Bernice, Gregory Kevin Poole, and Timothy Phillip Poole and wife Patricia, all of Monterey; daughter, Melba Pugh and husband Joe of Trout; grandchildren, Patrick Poole, Jan Bryant, Johanna Pugh Bridges, Brandi Pugh Poole, Jarred Pugh, Charla Poole, Caleb Poole, Ron Poole, Robert Poole, Kevin Poole, Jimmy Poole, Jessie Poole, Alanna Poole, Rebecca Smading and Sam Martin; 30 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Alene Crouch White of Mayna; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were Patrick Poole, Jarred Pugh, Caleb Poole, Ron Poole, Robert Poole, Kevin Poole, Jimmy Poole, Jessie Poole and Benjamin Poole.

Honorary pallbearers were Andy Anders, Sam Martin, Tommy Lewis Crouch, Lane Dale, Jeff Wyatt and Buddy Tiffee.

The family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or the Shriners Hospital.

James Grady Corley, 81, of Olla passed from this life on Sunday, January 12, 2020, in Olla.

He was born May 14, 1938 in Rogers, to the union of his parents, Grady Grover Corley and Cornelia Allen Corley.

Those left to cherish in his memory include his stepson, Ronnie Zeagler and wife Donna of Olla; sisters, Johnnie Whatley of Nebo, and Jeanette Thompson of Archie.

Arrangements were handled by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Theresa Diane Shelton, 64, of Pollock, passed from this life on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania.

She was born January 20, 1955 in Harrisonburg to the union of her parents, Alton and Helen Johnson.

Theresa loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as playing on her phone, fishing and most importantly, taking care of others.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8 from the sanctuary of Restoration Church (formerly Tullos United Pentecostal Church) in Tullos with the Revs. Elzie Johnson and Jerry Johnson officiating.

Interment followed in the Chickasaw Cemetery, east of Olla, under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia/Olla.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Johnson; her husband, Ronnie Shelton; brother, Lamar Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Christy Shelton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Gleen Shelton (Ramona) and Allan Shelton; her daughter, Melissa Carter; her father, Alton Johnson; four sisters, Pamela Johnson, Robbin Johnson, Kathy Johnson and Debbie Johnson; grandchildren, Allyson Gable (Will), Joshua Shelton, Austin Shelton, Chelsey League (Chris), Rebecca Shelton, Kaitlin Shelton, Taylor Carter, Alexis Carter, Kristina Carter, Samantha Eastep, Tyler Short and Lauren Short; great-grandchildren, Dunkan Gable, Lily Gable, Christopher “Turtle” League, Domnik League, and Gwendalynn League.

Pallbearers were Fruit Taylor, Paul Shelton, Alan Carter, Shane Blake, Aaron Johnson and J. W. Summerall.

Honorary pallbearers included Rodger Franklin, Donnie Taylor and Justin Strong.

Cora Edna Griffin Gunn White, 88, passed from this life on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Plantation Oaks Nursing Center in Wisner.

She was born September 27, 1931 at Duty Ferry to the union of her parents, L. D. Griffin and Bessie Cassels Griffin.

Mrs. White was a member of the New Ouachita Baptist Church and her hobbies included reading, watching tennis, and she loved to play the piano. She was a legal secretary for Attorney Roger Reeves until her retirement.

She was a lovely person and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. James King officiating.

Interment followed in the Rosefield Cemetery at Rosefield under arrangements by Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, J. W. Gunn and Bill White; her brother, L. D. Griffin, Jr; her sister, Emily Doris McKee Oliveaux; and her grandson, Johnny Dewayne Gunn.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Johnny Gunn (Cindy); two brothers, Bennie Griffin (Anna Marie) and Billy Wayne Griffin (Kathlene); her grandchildren, Malissia Gunn, Tammy Norris (Derick), Kristina Rudd, Dustin Gunn, Heather Gunn, and Sloan Gunn (Ashley); nine great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Wanda Faul (Ronnie); and special friend, Vickie Griffin.

Pallbearers were Nathan Roark, Mike Ferrington, Ronnie Faul, Stanley Smith, Derick Norris and Cecil Griffin.

Honorary pallbearers included Lonnie “O.T.” Overturf and Joey Thibodeaux.

Leo Bell

Leo Bell, 92, of Jena, entered his eternal home on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

He was born November 17, 1927 to the late Rev. Henry Bell and Beatrice Howard Bell, one of eight children.

Brother Bell was baptized at an early age at New Evergreen Baptist Church and attended school in La- Salle Parish.

He lived in Kansas City, Kansas and New Mexico before returning home. He was married to the late Annie Mae Jackson Bell and to this union two sons were born, Earl Bell and Greg Bell.

Leo was employed at Ford Auto and later did transportation for the LADD Center. He loved working on vehicles.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, at New Evergreen Baptist Church of Jena with Rev. Chauncey Hardy officiating.

Interment followed in the Webster Cemetery of Good Pine under arrangements by Gayden Funeral Home of Jena.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Bell and Alton Bell; three sisters, Alberta, Irene, and Eudora (Dozier).

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Sylvia Jackson of Jena; three sons, Earl Bell (Dallas) of Alamogordo, NM, Greg Bell of Jena, and Leroy Bell of Sacramento, CA; one daughter, Rhonda Bell of Houston, TX; five grandchildren; one sister, Para Story (Harvey) of Compton, CA; one brother, Rev. Cleo Bell of Las Cruses, NM; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers were Kenneth Bloodsaw, Patrick Cooper, Bobby Cooper, Calvin Thomas, Jr., Ronnie Martin, and James Miles.

Honorary pallbearers were Oliver Dotson, Alton Bell, Juan Bell, Alonzo Stevenson, Wesley Murray, and Harvey Story.
