Larry Wayne LaCroix, 64, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. He was born Wednesday, August 8, 1951 in Ferriday to the union of his parents, Wayne Bernard and Marjorie Sanson LaCroix. Larry Wayne was a resident of Jonesville and a Corporal with the Catahoula Parish Correction Center. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 20, at Evangeline Baptist Church with the Revs. Jack Knapp and Curtis Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Evangeline Baptist Church Cemetery of Wildsville under direction of Young’s Funeral Home of Jonesville. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Barbara LaCroix of Jonesville; two daughters, Brandy LaCroix Stockman and husband David of Jonesville, and Jennifer La-Croix Herron and husband Mickey of Pineville; three grandsons, Trenten Butler, Dillon Stockman, and Ryan Butler; one granddaughter, Taylor Stockman; brother, James LaCroix and wife Carmen of Jonesville; and two sisters, Linda Burson and husband Harvey of Texas, and Aleda Dillon and husband Mark of Franklin Country, MS. Pallbearers were Jason LaCroix, Harold Jean, Mike Butler, Patrick Jean, Larry Boothe, and Rick Lam. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Book and Benny Ramsey.
