Brenda Tullos, 68, passed from this life on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, at First United Pentecostal Church of Harrisonburg, with Pastor Danny Aarons officiating. Interment followed in the Harrisonburg Cemetery under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. and Faye Aarons; daughter, Priscilla Drane; grandson, Dewayne Tullos; brother, Craig Aarons; and nephew, “Scooter” Aarons. Survivors include her children, Gerald Tullos and wife Evelyn of Summerville; George McClure of Jonesville, and Judson Lee Drane and wife Diana of Pleasant Prairie, WI; siblings, Joseph L. “Bo” Aarons and wife Charlotte of Harrisonburg, Danny Aarons and wife Marsha of Lake Charles, Lily Book of Jena, and Joyce Henderson of Harrisonburg; seven grandchildren, Daniel Tullos, Austin Drane, Jazmin Drane, Ethan Drane, Christian Drane, Nina McClure and Emily Rose McClure; two great grandchildren, Kaylea Tullos and Gabriele McClure; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael Hearndon, Bradley Jerome Book, Daniel Tullos, Caleb Patten, Joshua Patten, Harold Sones, and Rodney Sones.
