
Ronald Ray Poole, 60, of Enterprise, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at his residence. He was born October 11, 1955 in Port Sulphur, to the union of his parents, Orval Ray Poole and Ellen Kyle Poole. Ronald Ray worked as a truck driver and was a member of Sandy Bayou Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and will be missed by many. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. James Ray Townsend officiating. Interment followed in Rosefield Cemetery at Rosefield under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Poole. Survivors include his parents, Orval Ray Poole and Ellen Kyle Poole of Clarks; daughters, Angel Mitchell and husband Charles of Aimwell and Tasha Sullivan and husband Tim of Trout; brothers, Benny Kyle of W.V. and Charlie Mac Kyle and wife Rhonda of Winnfield; sisters, Ellen Ann Brown of Waco, TX and Eunice Lorrie Ellerbee and husband Keith of Pistol Thicket; grandchildren, Alexis Poole and fiance’ Robert Grey, Makayla Mitchell, Alyssa Mitchell, Corey Sullivan, Quentin Harper, Kathleen Celia Harper, Aubrey Harper and Delton Sullivan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers were Tim Sullivan, Shane Townsend, Ernie Lee Sandidge, Robert Grey, Chad Crawford and Johnny Gunn, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Mitchell and Donald McMillmen.
