Katherine “Kathy” Thompson Garsee, 60, of Jena, passed from this life on Sunday, November 22, 2105, at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. She was born August 9, 1955 In Forest City, Arkansas. Mrs. Garsee was a homemaker. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Joey Paul officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Gary Thompson; and brother, Ronnie Thompson. Survivors include one son, Charlie Pritchard and wife Susie; father, W. G. Thompson of Whitehall; sister, Laurie Williams; brother, Gary Thompson; and grandchildren, Cody Pritchard and Hadlie Jo Pritchard.
