Richard T. Sharbono, 37, of Olla, passed from this life on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Richard loved fishing, music and swimming. He was a welder and recently completed a semester of college. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, at Olla Pentecostal Church, with Rev.. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery, Olla under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vivian Ross and Clifford Sharbono, and Mildred and Curtis Brown. Survivors include his wife, Neomia Frizzell Sharbono of Olla; children, Jessica and fiancé Colton, Katie and boyfriend Jagger, Wilburn and Ethan; parents, Bobby and Margaret Sharbono; siblings, Tonya Chelette and husband Carl of Colfax and their son Josh, Bobby Sharbono and wife Jenny of Jena and their son Hunter and Nicki Jackson and husband Chad of Olla; expected grandbaby, Jolee Kate; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends; and his best friend “Little Brother” Preston Matthews. Pallbearers were Josh Chelette, Preston Matthews, Joey O’Neal, Ricky Burnett, Shane Foy, Paul Kimball and Joseph Price. Honorary pallbearers were Tavis Frizzell, Hunter Sharbono, Shannon Sharp, Chad Jackson and Carl Chelette.
