Ivalere Virginia Dotson, 83, of Jena, passed from this life on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. She was born October 11, 1931 in Belah to the union of her parents, John Mancil and Nettie Beatrice Twiner White. Mrs. Dotson was a homemaker. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, at the Whitehall Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Joey Paul and Leonard Wilson officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery in the Belah/ Fellowship Community under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Christopher Columbus “C.C.” Dotson. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Mae Fleming
of Pittsburg, TX, Sybil Fay Hughart of Jena, and Linda Sue Wilson of Belah; one son, Clarence Ray Dotson of Jena; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Pallbearers were Casey Dotson, Corey Dotson, Chris Hughart, James White, L. J. Wilson, and Tanner Whatley. Honorary pallbearers were Coltin Fleming, Logan Crawford, Patrick Crawford, Camren Crawford, Ryan Dabbs, Blake Dotson, Lane Pritchard, Garrett Dotson, Emmalee Whatley, Andrew Pedneau, Cara Hughart, Carson Hughart, Makenly Wilson, Hunter Wilson, and Bentley Wilson.
