
Sue Crick, 81, of Pineville, and a former resident of Jena, completed her journey here on earth on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, and is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Sue was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Hoffman, Jr. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Pineville, and the Kairos Prison Ministry. Services honoring her life were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville with Dr. Steve Fowler and Dr. Patrick Willis officiating. Interment followed in the Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of
Pineville. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dena Crick Aldridge; and her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Hoffman, III. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, B. J. “Bud” Crick of Pineville; two daughters, Lori Kendrick and husband Donnie and Neil Crick and wife Denise; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made in her memory
to the Alzheimer’s Association.
