Lynda Faye Berry Cockerham, 55, a native of Winnfield, and a longtime resident of Jena and Baton Rouge, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Lynda was a 1976 graduate of Winnfield Senior High School and earned a degree in psychology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. She spent many years working in various capacities within the mental health field before becoming disabled due to Multiple Sclerosis.
Lynda loved cooking, fishing, bowling and being surrounded with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be an evening of reminiscence on Saturday, August 2nd. Contact the family for additional details. Survivors include her husband, Ronald “Tom” Cockerham, and their children, Robyn “Mandy” and Allen and wife Ashley, and beloved granddaughter, Avery.
