Billy Lee Webb, 69, of Jena, passed from this life on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. He was born July 24, 1944 in Jena to the union of his parents, Elsie and Hattie Bell Robbins Webb. Billy was employed as a truck driver and was a veteran of the Louisiana National Guard. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 9, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Michael Browning officiating. Interment followed on Monday, March 10, in the Fellowship Cemetery in Warren, Texas, under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Curtis Webb and Don Webb. Survivors include his wife, Claudette Thornton Webb of Jena; two daughters, Dee Johnson and Thressa Vaughn, both of Jena; four sons, Casey Webb of Bossier City, Mike Webb of Pineville, Todd Webb of Jena, and Michael Browning of Oyster Creek, TX; sister-in-law, Olene Webb; 36 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jamie Ogden, Clint Norris, Brandon Joy, Matthew McDowell, Danny Jones, and Windell Mance. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Killingsworth, Leroy James, Bradley McDowell and Tony James.
