
Jo Evelyn Randall Hudson, 70, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at her home following a lengthy illness, comforted by family and friends.
She was born June 30, 1950 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Jo was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 18, at Beulah Baptist Church near Georgetown with the Revs. Adam Hudson and Lamar Carpenter officiating.
Interment followed in the Hawthorne Cemetery in the Little Creek Community under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jewel Maloy Randall; mother, Adelle Berry Randall; and special friend and sister-in-law, Pat Randall.
Jo is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alvin Ray Hudson of Georgetown; brothers, Kaylon Randall (Kim), and Kenneth Randall, all of Jena; sister, Barbara Bird (Clyde) of West Monroe; sons, Ricky Hudson (Crystal) of Georgetown, and Allen Hudson (Jennifer) of Natchitoches; daughter, Teresa Traylor (Tim) of Georgetown; grandchildren, Shaye Vinson (Shawn), Kendal Hudson, Dewayne Traylor, Taylor Hudson, Kaleb Hudson (Kennedy), Adam Hudson (Daci), Kamryn Hudson, Cooper Hudson, and Chloe Hudson; and great-grandson, Rhett Hudson.
Pallbearers were Rob Laird, Dwayne Spears, Michael Carter, Taylor Hudson, Kendal Hudson and Kaleb Hudson.
Honorary pallbearers were Clyde Bird, Ronnie Laird, Bill King, Dewayne Traylor, Richard Banes, Ray Baum, and Ashton Baum.
