John Otis Paul, 76, of Jena, passed from this life on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Jena Nursing and Rehab Center in Jena. He was born February 7, 1937 in Rhinehart to the union of his parents, Phillip Frank and Emmie Clark Paul. Mr. Paul was self employed. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann Paul. Survivors include his wife, Mary Moore Paul of Rhinehart; three sisters, Catherine Watson of Pineville, Frankie Culp of Rhinehart, and Bertha Lou Culp of Jena; and three grandchildren, Judy, Bonnie, and Grant.
