Ina Mae Robbins, 78, of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, April 12, 2013, at LaSalle General Hospital. She was born September 13, 1934 in McComb, Mississippi, to the union of her parents, Stanley and Trudye Whittington Deer. Mrs. Robbins was a homemaker. Services were held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, April 14, in the chapel of Hartman Funeral Home in McComb, MS with the Revs. Paul Stephens and Jimmy Keene officiating. Interment followed in the Hollywood Cemetery of McComb under direction of Hartman Funeral Home. Local arrangements were handled by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Deer. Survivors include her husband, Walter Robbins of Jena; one son, Cecil Taylor of McComb, MS; one daughter, Cecilia Taylor-Pickens of McComb; four step-children, Mike Robbins of Jena, Patsy Robbins of Jennings, James Robbins of Natchitoches, and Susan Mitchell of Florien; one sister, Lorraine Whitehead of Meadville, MS; 4 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
