Thomas R. White, 82, of Lucedale, Mississippi, and a native of Olla, passed from this life on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary.
He was born September 22, 1937 to the union of his parents, Eli and Audie White.
Thomas retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as QA Specialist. He served our country in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves.
He was a long-time member of Mt. Pisgah UPC where he served as church secretary, song director, deacon, and in many other roles. His passion was serving God, serving the church, studying the Bible, and his family that he loved dearly. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 2, in Mt. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church Cemetery with the Revs. Karl Causey and James Roberts officiating.
Interment followed under direction of Freeman Funeral Home of Leaksville, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Norton White; sister, Carolyn Hendrix; and son-in-law, John Clifton.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 56 years, Annette White; daughter, Lisa Clifton; sons, Kevin White (Sandy) and Terry White (Wendy); grandchildren, Stormee White, Leighanne Hickman (Carson), Hunter White, Kyla Clifton, Ty White, Calvin White, Micah White, and Cherokee White; sisters, Audie Anders and Glenda Richard (Bobby); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
