Sharon Ann Neal Flaherty, 70, of Trinity, Alabama, and a native of Jena, passed from this life on Monday, March 9, 2020, at her residence.
She was born July 6, 1949 in Jena to the union of Milton Wade Neal and Sarah Boyd Neal.
Sharon was a member of East Lawrence House of Hope.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, at Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Kenny Rogers, Don Moore, Shane Britt, and Kendall Penton officiating.
Interment followed in the Midway Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Moulton, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael “Scott” Flaherty; and sister, Denise Neal Barker.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Michael W. Flaherty; three sons, Mark Flaherty and wife Rhonda, Neal Flaherty and wife Angie, and Josh Pritchard and wife Deanna, all of Alabama; two sisters, Shirley Hebron (Bobby) and Donna Ashley (Ricky), all of Jena; six grandchildren, Courtney (Lucas) Blankenship, Ashley (Garrett) Wisener, Landon Flaherty, Cade Flaherty, Grant Pritchard, Grayson Pritchard; and five great grandchildren, Gage Blankenship, Luke Blankenship, Annie Blankenship, Lynlee Wisener and Adalee Wisener of Alabama.
