Lynn Rouse Oxley, 68, of Harrisonburg, passed from this life on Monday, January 20, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, at First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg with the Brother Josh Adams and Rev. Jack Knapp officiating.
Interment followed in the Harrisonburg Cemetery under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Rouse.
Those left to cherish her memory include children, Jason and Robin Aplin and Staci and Lee Cater; grandchildren, Connor Aplin, Caden Aplin and Abby Cater; father, Raymond Rouse; stepmother, Jackie Rouse; brother, Buddy Rouse and wife Liz; sisters, Beth Ashworth, Mona Rouse and Jennifer Cowart; and lifelong friends, Deborah Womack and Johnnie Carol Estes.
Pallbearers were Lee Cater, Connor Aplin, Billy Rouse, Chris Rouse, Josh Neal and Trey Rouse.
