Bobby Hughes Cross, 69, of Trout, passed from this life on Monday, January 20, 2020.
He was born March 14, 1950 in O’Reilly, Mississippi, to the union of his parents, Thomas Cross, Sr. and Estelle Reynolds Cross.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24, at Magnolia Baptist Church in the Magnolia Community with Rev. Tommy Prince officiating.
Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Junior Cross, Jerry Cross, and Billy Cross.
Those left to cherish in his memory include his brothers, Howard Cross of Keiser, AR, Charles Cross of Gonzales, Tony Knapp and wife Lisa of Trout, Larry Hines and wife Theresa of Trout, and Terry Knapp and wife Marie of Trout; sisters, Patsy Cross McClellan of Mississippi, and Ann Cross Cash of Arkansas; nephews, Justin Paul, Lester Crooks, Dusty Knapp, and Tony “Scooter” Knapp; nieces, Kayla Paul, and Kelly Crooks; great nephews and nieces, Carley, Cydnee, Charlie, Cason, and Whitlee.
Pallbearers were Bard Lambeth, Justin Paul, Dusty Knapp, Larry Lambeth, A. J. Sharp, Chase Sharp, Tony “Scooter” Knapp, and Lance Breland.
Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Mitchell, Jeffery Sharp, Chet Whatley, and Terry Knapp.
