Ruby Faye Hailey, 77, of Nebo, passed from this life on Thursday, August 8, 2019, following a brief illness.
She was born October 8, 1941 in Jena.
Faye was a member of Nebo Baptist Church where she served as secretary and worked in the nursery for many years. She loved to mow her yard and fish.
Services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, August 11, at Nebo Baptist Church in Nebo with the Revs. Mark Breland and Stephen Richardson officiating.
Interment followed in the Nebo Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Butler; mother, Susie Crooks Seaton; brother, Andy Butler; and sisters, Louise Root, and Rachael Hawthorne.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her husband, M. S. “Red” Hailey of Nebo; daughter, Jennifer Hailey Little and husband John of Nebo; sister, Joyce Thompson of Jena; grandchildren, Jenny Lynn Paul and husband Cullen of Searcy, John Robert Little and wife Audrey of Nebo; and great grandchildren, Audrey, Bradley, Cailey and Dalton Paul, and Johnson and Evalee Little.
Pallbearers were J. L Paul, Rickey Huffman, Dolan Pendarvis, Greg Deason, Wayne Russell, L.D. Stinger, Hope Fallin, and Keith Eaves.
Honorary pallbearers were Doyle Stevenson, W. L. Huffman, J. W. Thomas, David Graham, Brent Farley, Jesse Davis, Larry Lambeth, and Will Huffman.
The family requests memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital in memory of Faye.
