Brandi Lynn Scarbrough, 42, of Olla, passed from this life on Friday, May 24, 2019, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was born July 21, 1976.
Brandi was a wonderful, fun loving person. She loved fishing, garage sales, dancing and being a clown, life of the party and digging worms! Needless to say, there was never a dull moment when she was around.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, at Olla Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Jonathan Crist and Lamar Carpenter officiating.
Interment followed in the Urania Cemetery in Urania under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Shelton; grandparents, J.R. and Addie B. Shelton and Carl and Iona Lucas.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Harmony Scarbrough of Tullos; mother, Judy Shelton of Alexandria; sister, Deborah Johnson (Frankie) of Colfax; brother, Carlton Shelton of Monroe; nephews, Justin Kirkland (Danielle), Kyle Kirkland (Shonda) and Ryan Kirkland; nieces, Alicia Kirkland and Frankie D. Johnson; six great nieces and nephew (also known as Bebe’s babies), Lannah, Tenley, Brodie, Kyleigh, Kynsley and Brinleigh; special companion, James “Bubba” LeBrun; also, an over-abundance of friends and family that loved her.
Pallbearers were Justin Kirkland, Ryan Kirkland, Ashton Baum, Fruit Taylor, James Oliveaux and Glenn Kirkland.
Honorary pallbearers were Frankie Johnson, Woody Woodruff, Todd Bradford, Jerimy Engles and Bruce Bonneau.
