Georgia “Pep” Bradford Robertson, 84, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at her residence. She was born January 31, 1929 in Walters to the union of her parents, James William and Stella Adeline Paul Bradford. A graduate of Block High School, Georgia was a homemaker, wonderful wife and mother of three daughters. She recently celebrated her 65th anniversary with her husband, Ike. She was a member of Evangeline Baptist Church and exemplified true dignity, grace and love of God and family. Services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15, at Evangeline Baptist Church in Wildsville with the Revs. Lester Johnson and Curtis Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Evangeline Cemetery in Wildsville under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lena Johnson, Ester Prince, and Minnie Bell Bingham; brothers, Ben, Pete, Clyde, Lonnie, Leon, Louis, O.B., Arthur and Huey Bradford; grandson, Christopher Taylor; and great granddaughter, Christian Jeanfreau. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Isaac “Ike” Edward Robertson of Jonesville; daughters, Sandra Robertson Taylor and husband Mike of Pineville, Susanne Robertson Routon and husband Ron of Wildsville, and Paula Robertson Aitken and husband Tommy of Monroe; sisters, Margie Lee of Jena and Mary Gibson of Lake St. John; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor Jeanfreau and husband Andre, Sean Taylor and wife Becky, Shana Shirley Veade and husband Derek, Landon Shirley, Jacob Aitken and wife Meredith, Megan Aitken Dunkelberger and husband Kyle, and Aaron Aitken; and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sean Taylor, Landon Shirley, Jacob Aitken, Aaron Aitken, Andre Jeanfreau, Derek Veade, and Kyle Dunkelberger.
