Ollye Jean James, 64, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Monday, October 29, 2018, at the Jena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jena.
She was born January 15, 1954 in Winnfield.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Johnny Barnhill officiating.
Interment followed in the Lincecum Cemetery in Georgetown under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dixie “Bo” Lincecum; mother, Lois Lincecum; husband, John Wayne James; three brothers, Laney Lincecum, Norman Lincecum and Herschel Lincecum.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her son, John Dwayne “Bubba” James of Alexandria; daughter, DeLois “Dede” James of Jena; three grandchildren, Koby Dwayne Arrington, Felicity Elaine Campbell, and Christian John Cockerham; brother, Micheal Lincecum of Tullos; and sister, Darlene Lofton of Urania.
Pallbearers were Chris Cockerham, Dewayne Cockerham, Micheal Lincecum, Peck Nugent, Sherman Cockerham, and Mark Lincecum.
