Lawrence Campbell, 71, of Harrisonburg, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville.
He was born Wednesday, July 16, 1947 in Natchez, MS to the union of his parents, James Robert and Emma Cupit Campbell.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville with Rev. Jerry Holland officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Lynn Campbell.
Survivors include one son, Brent Campbell and wife Holly of Jena; one daughter, Melinda Graham and husband Lige Graham, Jr. of Jena; his sister, Betty Campbell Dawkins and husband Imon of Vidalia; four grandsons, Dakota Graham, Cade Graham, Chaz Graham, and Garrett Campbell; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Campbell; and two great grandsons, Jacob Carlton and Gunner Graham.
