Sheila Ratcliff Paul, 63, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. Sheila loved to cook and feed her family, loved her pets and loved her church family and playing the piano. The Lord and her family were the two most important things in her life. Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at Jonesville Church of God with the Revs. Marion Trisler, Jr., Terry Deville, Tim Crooks, and Brad Crooks officiating. Interment followed in the Eva Church of God Cemetery in Monterey under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe L. (Jay) Ratcliff and Mable Crouch Ratcliff. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Pervon Paul; daughters, Jan Paul, and Jessie Paul Gaspard and husband David; brother, Billy Joe Ratcliff and wife Carolyn; nieces, Annie Ratcliff Sance and husband Glenn, Jennie Ratcliff Rogers and husband Tim and Rebecca Ratcliff Simmons and husband Ralph; great nephews, Britt Overton and Austin Overton; great nieces, Hanah Sance and Ainslee Simmons; great-great nephew, Drake Overton; special son-in-law, Bryan Alexander; and a host of cousins and other relatives. Pallbearers were Ralph Simmons, Tim Rogers, Glenn Sance, James White, Britt Overton, Austin Overton, Ethan Crooks, Marty Crooks, Ed Rutledge and Buddy Boy Dupuis. Honorary pallbearers were James Lee Paul, Greg Poole, Eddie Poole, Melba Pugh, Tim Poole, Ronald Poole, Bryan Alexander, Tommy Lewis, Brunston Crouch, Phyliss Netherland, Debbi Hamilton, Debbie Bairnsfather, Diane Fancher, Connie Mulvihill, James Miller Crouch, Charlotte Broussard, Gayle Simonton and Cheryl Crouch.
