Tommy Joe “Trey” Beasley, III, 41, of Shreveport, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. He was born Friday, February 11, 1977 in El Paso, Texas. Trey was an avid LSU fan and a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity at ULM. He loved his niece and nephew like they were his own children. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, at Southern Funeral Home chapel in Winnfield with Rev. Andrew Partington officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories in Winnfield under arrangements of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Felix J. and Annie Ernestine Mercer; and paternal grandparents, Tom Beasley, Jr. and Ernestine Beasley. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Tommie Joe Beasley, Jr., of Tupelo, MS; mother, Betty Jean Mercer Beasley of Shreveport; sister, Natasha Clifton (Morris, Jr.) of Jonesboro; nephew, Cayden James Clifton of Jonesboro; and niece, Presley Holder of Jonesboro.
