Rev. Perry Charles Wells, 56, of Jena, passed from this life at his home in Jena on Monday, February 19, 2018. He was born April 10, 1961 in Pell City, Alabama. Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in Jena with the Revs. Zach Wells, Greg Wilbanks, and Roger Lewis officiating. Interment followed in Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Sonja Reynolds Wells of Jena; sons, Rev. Zachary Brant and wife, Tiffany of Jena and Rev. Zane Daniel and wife, Sarah of Cullman, AL; daughter, Lindsay Lang Kimbrough and husband, Kamron of Cullman, AL; grandchildren, Caitrin Wells, Adalyn Wells, Davy Wells, Wesley Wells, Miriam Wells and Charleigh Kimbrough; parents, Dan Theo and Nola Mae Brasher Wells of Sterrett, AL; brothers, Melvin Wells and wife, Teri of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jason Wells of Sterrett, AL. Pallbearers were Cade Posey, Chase Wells, Kyle Wells, Braxton Miller, Adams Robert and Bo Alexander.
