Mary J. Goodman, 75, of Georgetown, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.
She loved God and her family.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 15, at Beulah Baptist Church near Georgetown with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating.
Interment followed in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery near Georgetown under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Goodman; parents, Clarence and Ethel Higginbotham; and brother, John Hicks.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Goodman of Georgetown; daughter, Michelle Hester and husband Bruce of Tullos; four grandsons, Dylan Hester, Conner Hester, Jacob Hester and Shane Goodman; one granddaughter, Carrie-Beth Hester; and one brother, James “Jim” Hicks and wife Eunice of Illinois.
Pallbearers were Henry Goodman, Teddy Goodman, Tony Goodman, Terry Wayne Goodman, Larry Goodman and Todd Durham.
