Nick B. Harris, 29, of Olla, passed from this life on Monday, June 19, 2017 from injuries he sustained in a traffic accident in the Fishville Community in Grant Parish.
He was born December 9, 1987 in Alexandria.
Nick was a railroad worker for Union Pacific Railroad.
Services were held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Johnnie Phillips and Todd Norris officiating.
Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery in Olla under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
Those left to cherish in his memory include his parents, Dennis and Suzanne Harris of Olla; sister, Summer Pruett and husband Anthony of Jena; niece and “daughter of his heart”, Kealie Brown; grandparents, Vernon B. Harris of Olla, and Jean Norris of Jena.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marie Harris and Shelby Norris.
Pallbearers were Anthony Pruett, Bryce Stott, Joe McCartney, Chris Harris, Wes Norris and Dick Zeagler.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Norris, Ross Norris, Chris Norris, Charlie Norris, Steve Norris, Chuck Norris, Andrew Brouillette, Jared Thompson, Mark Lindloff, Andrew Strong, Torey Ray and Coe Zeagler.
