Jimmy “Flea Collar” Wilson, 67, of Midway, passed from this life on Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home. He was a cross country truck driver and a member of Midway Pentecostal Church. Services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Midway Pentecostal Church of Jena with the Revs. Kevin Manuel, John Keene and Ronnie Temple officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery near Jena under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Jasper Wilson, and a brother, Don Wilson. Survivors include his wife, Frances Wilson; three daughters, Sister Sheila Temple and husband Rev. Ronnie Temple, Sister Angela Keene and husband Rev. John Keene, and Monica Wilson; two sons, Richard Pippins and wife Sierra, and Ashley Ganey and wife Mia; his mother, Ulila Wilson; two brothers, Leonard Wilson and Ricky Wilson; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
