Charlotte Ann Noland, 72, of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, September 23, 2016, at her home in Jena. She was born September 26, 1943 in Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, Allen Charles and Gracie Poole Halley. Charlotte operated a daycare service from her home in Jena for many years. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 15, at United Baptist Church near Nebo with Rev. Tommy Prince officiating. Visitation will be the morning of the service beginning at 9 a.m. Graveside services will follow that afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church, west of Columbia, under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include her husband, Clifford Allen Noland of Jena; one son, Charles Allen “Chuck” Noland and wife Brook; daughters, Carol Ann Morton and husband Roger “Bub”, Cathleen Alisa “Cathy” Atwell and husband Mike and Chrystal Alaine Peppers and husband Joe; brother, Charles Halley; sister, Alaine Edgar; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
