
Mable Hettie Cockerham, 90, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Mountain Home. She was born December 19, 1924 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Earnest and Ruth (Clayton) Trumbo. Services were held Monday, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m. at New Union Church north of Tullos with Rev. Lee Thomas officiating. Interment followed in the New Union Church Cemetery under direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home of Mountain Home, AR. Survivors include three children, Fred Myron Cockerham (Halina) of Oakland, AR, Robin Bruce Cockerham (Gayla) of Hamburg, AR, and Rosemary Boyter of Mountain Home; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Smith, Ruth Corbin and Dorothy Jones and lifelong friends, Bobby and Bertie Barbee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Herman Cockerham; two brothers, Clyde and Leslie “Shorty” Cockerham and three sisters, Bea, Pauline and Mary. Pallbearers were Tommy Holmes, Ron Besser, Kyle Cockerham, Sonny Budemer, Carl Bruce, Cole Bruce and Blade Ponds.
