Dave ‘Davy’ Green Hebron III

Dave “Davy” Green Hebron, III, 42, of Jena, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in New Orleans. He was born March 13, 1973 in Alexandria, to the union of Dave, Jr. and Shirley Colleen McKay Hebron. Davy was a graduate of the Class of 1991 at Jena High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He received a full scholarship to Northeast Louisiana University. He was a server in the restaurant business. Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Billy Edwards, officiating, and Scott Curry doing the eulogy. Burial followed in the Big Creek Cemetery of Pollock, under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc. of Jena. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dave Green, Sr. and Virginia Smith Hebron; maternal grandparents, Elton C. and Nelva Christine Wallace McKay; his beloved, rescued Pit Bull, Kane; sisters-inlaw, Gertrude and Ellie, and brother-in-law, Seamus. Survivors include his parents Dave Jr. and Colleen Hebron of Jena; two sisters, Connie Orr and husband Jacob, and Kelly Skye and husband William, all of Jena; his nephews, Logan Carson, Tyler Carson, Sr., Austin Franks, and Elliott Skye; a great-nephew, Tyler Carson, Jr. and great-niece, Nicole Carson; and his life partner, Emmet Houston of New Orleans. Pallbearers were Tyler Carson, Sr., Austin Franks, William Skye, Scott Curry, Douglas Norris, and Brian Cook. Honorary pallbearers were Logan Carson, Jacob Orr, and Brian Dupuis.
