Lialah Celeste Whittington, one month and 24 days old, passed from this life on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Ronnie Tarver and Glenn Roark officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. Survivors include her parents, Matthew and Ashley Taylor Whittington of Jena; twin sister, Leah Elizabeth Whittington of Jena; grandparents, Randall and Amy Taylor of Trout and Kenneth and Abbie Whittington of Jena; great grandparents, Mary Kennedy, Ronnie and Shawn Tarver, and Diane Picou, all of Jena, and John Roy of Houma; and great great grandmother, Faye Bayles of West Monroe. Pallbearers were her uncles, Austin Taylor and Justin Whittington.
