Terry Asher Turner, 65, of Kentwood, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was born September 16, 1949 in Farmerville to his parents, Doyle Smith and Ruth Faye Pardue Turner. Terry was an engineer for Dresser Industry. Services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at Pritchard Baptist Church in the Old River Community with the Revs. Terry Dougty and James Greer officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Huffman Turner of Kentwood; two sons, Scott Turner and wife Kristi of Hammond, and R. Keith Turner and wife Leanne of Fulton, MD; sister, Robin Turner Wright; brothers, Don Turner of Sterlington, and Buddy Turner of Marietta, GA; and four grandsons, Mason, Max, Calvin and Kyle. Pallbearers were Logan Huffman, Ethan Huffman, Adam Huffman, Johnny Huffman, Brian Turner, Jeff Turner, Paul Turner, and Duane Turner. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Flowers, Roger Bird, Steve Clark, Ben Dosher, and Robert Fuller.
