Bertie Faye Esters, 85, of Rosefield, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Huntsvile, Texas. She was born October 21, 1929 in Rosefield to the union of her parents A. J. Ainsworth, Sr. and Julia Currington Ainsworth. Mrs. Esters was a lifetime member of Rosefield Baptist Church and she loved to quilt and read. She also loved her flowers and garden and loved her children and grandchildren very much. Services were held at 1
p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, at Rosefield Baptist Church with Rev. Bubba Tucker officiating. Interment followed in the Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Otis Esters; and a brother, A. J. Ainsworth, Jr. Survivors include one daughter, Veronica Faye Mc- Gurie and husband Ronald of Huntsville, TX; two sons, Otis Mark Esters and wife Cynthia of Grayson, and Charles Toby Esters of Clarks; one brother, David Ainsworth of Ridgecrest; two sisters, Julia Mae Powell of Monroe and Edith Kelley of Rosefield; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Samuel Jones, Marcus Esters, Jeremy McGuire, Seth Lindsey, Mike Ainsworth, and Ethan Ainsworth.
