Louise Barron Kelly, 82, of Trout, passed from this life on Monday, February 9, 2015, at Riverside Hospital in Alexandria. She was born October 27, 1932 in Rapides Parish to the union of her parents, William and Nellie McGee Barron. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker. Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. James Foster and Reid Terry officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery east of Jena under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Macy White; brothers, Cecil Barron, Billy Barron, and Leroy Barron; and granddaughter, Lexy Kelly. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Kelly, Sr. of Trout; two sons, Jimmy Kelly, Jr. of Jena and Steven Kelly of Chatham; two daughters, Tammy Deason of Jena and Patsy Taylor of Jonesville; brother, Larry Barron of Pineville; grandchildren, Lindsay Willis, Brooke Taylor, Rode Yule, Ross Kelly, Allison Taylor, and Jared Deason; and great grandchildren, Coben Willis and Corynn Willis. Pallbearers were Calvin Deason, Rode Yule, Alan Taylor, Ross Kelly, Chase Willis, and Jared Deason, with Coben Willis serving as an honorary pallbearer.
