Chad Wayne Parkhill, 40, formerly of Jena, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. He had resided in Dumagutt, Phillippines for the past five years. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the Nebo Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Norris and Pastor Matthew Murrel officiating. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one aunt. Survivors include his fiancé, Luvh Mansanas; his mother, Carolyn Parkhill of Jena; his father, Tommy Parkhill of Houma; one sister, Shelly Parkhill Smith, and a niece, Skylar Lane Smith, both of Jena; aunts and uncles, Hank and Glenna Brown of Jena, Larry Skeans of Gainesville, TX, Faye Skeans of Lindsy, TX, Billy Parkhill of Saddler, TX, and June Slayton of Lake Kiowa, TX, and numerous cousins.
